Cabinet
The cabinet is made of strong sheet metal, surface treated with a special coating resistant to high temperatures. The top coat is grey in colour. The fans are designed and approved to extract air at 400 °C for a minimum of 2 hours. They are approved to EN 12101-3 standards.
Running wheel
The impeller with forward curved blades is made of electroplated steel plate. The impeller is dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940.
Motor
The motors are designed for three-phase voltage. Class H insulation and IP55 protection. To protect the motors, overcurrent protection set to the current value indicated on the motor label must be used. Motor sizes up to and including 3 kW are designed for 230/400 V power supply, motors with higher power input are designed for 400 V/50 Hz. Two-speed motors can be supplied on request.
Clamps
The terminal box is located on the motor.
Speed control
Two-speed motors can be supplied on request. Please enquire about the possibility and conditions of using VFVN frequency converters.
Noise
The noise emitted by the fan is shown in the tables. The acoustic pressure is measured in free space at a distance of 1.5 m on the discharge side at maximum flow.
Mounting
The cabinet must not transmit mechanical stresses from the pipework. A flexible connection to the pipework must be used. Before installation, it is important to check that the electrical parameters of the product indicated on the label (voltage, power, frequency, etc.) correspond to the values of the local network.
Instructions
The fans are suitable for general HVAC and OEM applications where exhaust of hot air without hazardous substances is required. CHMT fans can be used on their own or incorporated into other groups of machinery designed to extract or supply air, including forced air ventilation in industry and air cooling of engines. The use of fans for fire ventilation is only possible after prior consultation.
