Cabinet
The cabinet is made of steel sheet, the finish is epoxy lacquer. There is a check valve in the discharge spout. The fan can be supplied with distribution chambers made of PLENUM zinc, which are noise-insulated and allow the connection of up to 7 Sonoflex® ducts or flexible ducts on the intake side of the fan. Unused intake outlets must be sealed with a DFL end cap.
Running wheel
The impeller is a radial impeller with forward curved blades, made of plastic (CKB 800 N) or galvanized steel sheet (CKB 1500 N). The impeller is dynamically and statically balanced.
Motor
The motor is asynchronous, with short armature, starting capacitor and thermal protection. Maximum operating temperature is 70 ˚C, insulation class F, protection class IP44.
Electrical connection
There is a 3-core cable leading from the fan, terminal block not included.
Speed control
Speed control is done by electronic or transformer regulators by changing the voltage.
Mounting
Mounted horizontally or vertically, preferably with the motor axis in the horizontal position, taking into account the bearing life. The fan can be supplied with a PLENUM inlet housing, which must be pressed onto the fan during mounting so that the fan housing is pressed into the foam seal in the groove of the inlet housing. PLENUM is attached to the CKB-N fan with self-tapping screws, and the gap between the fan and the enclosure is filled with a neutral silicone or acrylic sealant. CKB-N fans are mounted via ISA spring-loaded angles on the wall or via KSE vibration isolators on a fixed base.
Instructions
The ventilators are designed as central ventilation for houses, sanitary facilities, offices and smaller premises. Preferably, when installed in the soffit, flexhead and plate valves can be used. Fans can be used in conjunction with an SQA sensor for common room ventilation.
