Description
The CU-LT square fire dampers are used as a closure for air ducts in case of fire. By activating the damper, the spread of combustion products to the adjacent fire compartment is prevented for a specified period of time. The casing of the damper is made of corrosion-protected steel sheet. Certification according to EN 15650. Classification according to EN 13 501-3+A1. Fire resistance of the damper is EI60, EI90 or EI120 according to the installation method. Tested according to EN 1366-2 at 500 Pa.
Use
Fire dampers can only be used for air free of mechanical and chemical impurities and in environments without explosion hazards.
Variants
The CU-LT fire damper is available in the following versions. With a fusible link (type MFUSP), which activates the closing mechanism at temperatures above 72 °C, and a servo drive (type ONE/BFL(T)). The servo drive can be fitted with 24 V or 230 V. The damper is fitted with a UL inspection opening.
Mounting
The fire dampers are designed for square ducts from 200x100 mm to 800x600 mm (width x height). The damper is designed with an emphasis on minimum pressure loss and is suitable for installation in all common building structures such as walls, floors or lightweight partitions. The flap can be installed in any position of the mechanism. The CU-LT fire damper can be installed in a pipe route outside the fire compartmentation structure. Such positioning must comply with the installation instructions.
Caution
Fire dampers are fire safety devices, therefore it is necessary to comply with the rules prescribed by the standard (training of installers, carrying out regular operational checks, etc.). Ask for information!
