Patented ISOSTREAM® modular system with 45 mm thick wall panels made of galvanized steel sheet with external painting in RAL 9002 (grey-white). The panels are internally filled with sound and thermal insulation made of non-combustible glass mineral wool. For ease of servicing, the unit's cabinet is equipped with lockable doors with locks or fully sealed panels. The unit frame is made of aluminium profiles, the wall panels are screwed into the frame. The condensate outlets from the heat exchanger and condenser are always located in the bottom panel of the unit and are ready for connection to the odour trap. At the customer's request, the unit shell can be provided with atypical surface protection with higher corrosion resistance.
Fans
A fan with backward curved blades is mounted on the supply and exhaust side of the unit. The impeller is made of composite material and is statically and dynamically balanced.
Motors
An EC motor is directly mounted on the fan impeller. The fan motor can be continuously controlled by an external 0...10 V signal. The motor is equipped with its own built-in thermal protection. Motor efficiency class IE4, motor protection IP54.
Recuperator
The heat exchanger with completely separated supply and exhaust air streams is made of aluminium. The recuperator includes a bypass with a damper that fully controls the air entering the exchanger or bypass. On request, the recuperator can be retrofitted with a circulation or mixing damper (designation C or MX).
Filters
Two compact filter elements of different filtration classes with a thickness of 48 mm or one filter element with a thickness of 96 mm (for units of sizes DV 1800 to 7800) can be installed on the fresh air intake and exhaust air intake. For sizes DV 500, 800, 1200 only one filter element of 48 mm thickness can be installed. Filters are available in filtration classes from G4 to F9. Access to the filters is via the inspection door on the service side of the unit. The unit can be supplemented in the case of multi-stage filtration with MFL (or IFL) filter cartridges with MFR (or IFR) filter inserts, which are designed for installation in pipes.
Flaps
Aluminum control dampers with servo drive mounting preparation are integrated for fresh and exhaust air intake. The dampers comply with leakage class 2 according to EN1751. On request, the unit can be retrofitted with dampers in leakage class 3.
Heaters and air coolers
Depending on the design, the unit is equipped with a water or electric air heater. For summer air cooling needs, a water cooler or direct evaporator is fitted. For the needs of bivalent heating, the evaporator can be manufactured in a reversible design. Evaporators are designed for R410A and R32 refrigerant as standard. Water heaters and condensers have copper tubes and aluminium fins in a galvanised steel frame as standard. For the need of higher corrosion protection, the heat exchangers can be provided with additional corrosion protection. The electric heaters have smooth heating rods as standard and are equipped with an operating thermostat with a starting temperature of 60 °C and an emergency thermostat with manual reset and a starting temperature of 120 °C.
Electrical connection
Power supply voltage 1×230 V/50 Hz or 3×400 V/50 Hz depending on the unit equipment. The supply cables, sensor cables and power cables are fed into the unit via plastic grommets in the wall of the unit. Inside the unit, rubber grommets with membrane are provided for cable routing.
Regulation
The unit is equipped as standard with Digireg® digital control according to the unit configuration. In case the unit is equipped with a MaR system directly from the factory, all sensors and actuators are electrically connected and tested. The control cabinet is located on the wall of the unit (in case of atypical location of the MaR control cabinet it is necessary to consult with the manufacturer).
Mounting
In a vertical (marked positions "xV") or horizontal (marked positions "xH") position under the ceiling or on the floor (marked positions "xP"). The specific positioning of the throat in relation to the service side must be specified. A prescribed service space must be maintained in front of the unit for service interventions, filter changes, etc. Space must be provided below the unit for the installation of a condensate drain trap. The unit must be installed with a 5% slope towards the condensate drain on the air cooler side. The HVAC piping is connected to the prepared circular (DUOVENT® DV 500 to 1200) or rectangular sockets integrated in the sandwich panel (DUOVENT® DV 1800 to 7800). It is recommended to install flexible sleeves between the pipe throat and the unit to eliminate vibration transmission from the unit to the pipe. The rectangular throats are integrated in the unit's wall sandwich panel and the spacing of the corner connection holes is optimized for P20 connection flanges. For under-ceiling mounting on M10 threaded rods, the unit is equipped with 4 under-ceiling hangers (for DUOVENT® DV sizes 500 to 1200) or 8 under-ceiling hangers (for DUOVENT® DV sizes 1800 to 7800).
Noise
Noise figures given in the tables represent the sound power levels at the individual throat of the unit with weighting correction A, the sound power level of the whole unit shell. Acoustic parameters are within ±3 dB.
Warranty Terms
The DUOVENT® COMPACT DV, including the DVAV, DCAV and DCOP control system, must be commissioned exclusively by the Seller or a person designated by the Seller for this purpose. Failure to comply with this condition shall result in the termination of the Buyer's rights under defective performance and the Quality Warranty. Further conditions are set out in the Seller's Complaints Procedure.
