Cabinet
The cabinet is made of impact-resistant plastic, the colour is white. The cabinet is designed for wall or ceiling mounting. There is a return flap in the fan discharge. The front panel contains a metal filter grille. A plastic check damper with a DN80 pipe connection is included.
Running wheel
The impeller is radial with forward curved blades. The impeller is statically and dynamically balanced.
Motor
The motor is a two-speed asynchronous motor with a start-up capacitor. The motor has thermal protection against overheating. The maximum operating ambient temperature is 40 ˚C. Double insulated design, IP44 protection.
Square box
The terminal block is accessible by removing the front grille and terminal cover, connecting flush or cable on plaster. The terminal block includes a relief clip to prevent the cable from being pulled out.
Speed control
Speed control for Type S using the REB stepless controller or REGUL 2 or COM 2 speed switch. For type T, a built-in timer switch automatically switches the speed so that when the LS terminal is disconnected, the fan runs at a lower speed for the set time. See wiring on next page.
Noise
Noise emitted by the fan is measured at a distance of 1.5 m in the axis of the fan on the intake side.
Variants
S - basic two-speed design
T - 2-30 min. run time, fan runs at lower speed
HT - 2-30 min. run time, hygrostat 60-90% RH, fan runs at lower speed
Mounting
Mounting is done on the wall using the paper mounting template included in the delivery. Dowels and screws are also included. When mounting, we recommend flexible pads under the fan mounting points to reduce noise transmission through the building structure.
Instructions
Two-speed fans are suitable for relatively long ducts with greater pressure drop or for direct through-wall ventilation. The fans can be used for ventilation in residential construction, in conjunction with a HIG 2 hygrostat or a hygrostat combined with a thermostat for ventilation of wet areas.
