Cabinet
is made of galvanized steel sheet. The cabinet is equipped with a safety grille on the intake side and a louvre flap on the discharge side. The louvre opens automatically when the fan is started. In case the fan is within reach of people, a safety grille can be installed over the louvre (see accessories).
Running wheel
is made of Al alloy (size 800 steel plate). The impeller is statically and dynamically balanced. The impeller blade angle is set by the manufacturer. The impeller is
driven by a belt (size 800 straight), the housing contains a mechanism for tensioning it.
Motor
is asynchronous with a short armature. Four-pole design. The motor is IP55 rated. Insulation class F. Operating temperature 0 to +40 °C. The winding is equipped with thermal protection. Motor efficiency class IE3.
Square box
is located on the motor.
Speed control
motor speed control is not possible.
Flow direction
is from the grille to the louver.
Noise
is listed in the table of main technical parameters. Measurements are taken at a distance equal to three times the free-field diameter of the impeller.
Mounting
Fans are in principle with the motor axis horizontal. The casing must not transmit mechanical stresses from the building structures. The fan can be built into the walls of buildings. A discharge louver is not sufficient protection against shock from rotating parts. If the bottom edge of the fan is less than 2.5 m above the ground or the fan can otherwise be reached, an additional protective grille must be installed over the louvre. In applications where light penetration into the building must be prevented (e.g. poultry houses), a special blackout cassette can be ordered.
Options
- HIB-P fan with 230 V single-phase motor and discharge louvre
- HIT-P fan with 230/400 V three-phase motor and discharge louvre
Accessories
- SG Kit protective grille on louver
- BO Kit blackout cassette
- HIB/HIT Kit wall mounting frame
Instructions
The fans are designed to supply large volumes of air at low pressure, they are suitable for ventilation of large warehouses, greenhouses, sports and agricultural buildings.
Highlights
Alternatively, motors are supplied with a thermal fuse in the winding. In this case, the wiring diagram supplied with the fan in the documentation must be used. The thermal fuse must always be plugged in, otherwise the motor is not eligible for warranty repair.
