Information
The JTR triac switches allow contactless switching of the electric heater. This solution brings some advantages:
- reliability of semiconductor components - the device does not require any operation or special maintenance
- voltage is switched at zero crossing - minimal interference to the mains
- noiseless operation (compared to contactors)
- continuous control of the heating output from 0 to 100% based on a control voltage of 0 to 10 V
Heater assignment:
- JTR-2-B - 1x230 V to 2,3 kW
- JTR-12-1N-B - 1x230 V or 2x230 V up to 6/12 kW
- JTR-12-1N-B - 1x400 V or 3x400 V up to 12 kW
- JTR-18-1-B - 1x400 V or 3x400 V up to 18 kW
- JTR-24-1-B - 3x400 V up to 24 kW
3-phase heaters must be connected in a triangle or star (the center of the star must not be connected to the center conductor). For 3x 400 V heaters, the load must be distributed symmetrically between the phases, so the heater must draw the same current in all phases.
The rated current of the triac switch must not be exceeded.
- Recommended controller type: RSmini EO, UNIREG
Note: JTRs are not needed for MBE ... R2 and RME ... R.
JTR-18-1 has the same parameters as JTR-18-1-B, but a different method of power control. It is only sold as an accessory to the RSmini EO 5x30 and RSmini EO 1x30.
