Cabinet
is made of galvanized steel sheet. We recommend that the cabinet is insulated on the outside with Armaflex with a minimum thickness of 8 mm after installation in the pipe. The MSK-AFP damper is designed as a freeze protection for EHR 140, 280, 300, 325, 480, DOMEO 210, IDEO 325, 450, ALTAIR 120 and other recuperators.
Electrical connection
according to the diagram to the "AFP terminal block" located on the damper housing (terminals L, N, PE). Supply voltage 1×230 V / 50 Hz.
Regulation
Set the temperature on the antifreeze thermostat to 0 °C. When the temperature drops below this set temperature, the damper will start closing the cold outside air supply to the unit and warm air from the mechanical room will be mixed into the outside air. Raising the air temperature at the inlet to the recuperator will ensure defrosting. When the discharge air temperature rises above 0 °C, the outdoor air supply to the unit is reopened.
Mounting
Always install the AFP damper in the outdoor air supply duct to the unit as shown in the diagram. Mount the thermostat capillary in the exhaust air duct. It is forbidden to bend the capillary sharply - the minimum bending radius is 20 mm! The damper can be mounted in any position. It must be positioned to allow access to the terminal block, thermostat and actuator. The air intake from the machine room is ensured in the case of MSK-AFP 125-160 through a grille on the damper casing, in the case of MSK-AFP 100 a DN 100 pipe is connected to the damper throat and terminated with a drain valve.
