The constant flow regulator for MVF circular ducts is used for automatic regulation of supply and exhaust air flow. It ensures a constant air flow value regardless of the pressure conditions in the pipe network.
- for both supply and discharge
- simple design
- good control properties
- easy adjustment of large installations
- low noise level
Construction
The flow regulator is made of galvanized steel sheet. Operating temperature -20° to +70°C. The control gear is fixed to the desired flow rate. When the air flow rate is increased, the pressure differential in the regulator increases and the damper closes, thus reducing the valve's flow cross-section. This causes the flow rate to drop back to its original value.
Variants
MVF - standard version
MVF-I - version with 50 mm thick acoustic insulation
Highlights
When designing and installing, care must be taken to ensure that the pressure in the pipe does not exceed 1000 Pa and that the minimum pressure drop corresponds to the loss shown in the chart. Otherwise, the regulator will not perform its function and may be a source of noise.
