Information

Plastic vacuum trap with ball cap is suitable for connecting the condensate drainage of air handling units and other equipment. The siphon is adjustable by sliding the individual parts out from each other. The length of the siphon "A" or "L" can be extended by inserting an extension piece up to 1 meter in length.

The siphon extension Δh is determined according to the vacuum value in the unit from the relation:

Δh = Δp / 10 + 10 [mm],

where Δp is the absolute value of the pressure difference at a given point of the unit at maximum operating condition under atmospheric pressure.

For the determination of pressure differences Δp, clogging of filters to twice the pressure drop value is considered compared to the value with clean filters.
