Plastic vacuum siphon with ball cap is suitable for connecting the condensate drainage of air handling units and other equipment. The trap is adjustable by sliding the individual parts out from each other. The length of the siphon "A" or "L" can be extended by inserting an extension piece up to 1 meter in length.

The siphon extension Δh is determined according to the vacuum value in the unit from the following relation:

Δh = Δp / 10 + 10 [mm],

where Δp is the absolute value of the pressure difference at a given point of the unit at maximum operating condition under atmospheric pressure.

For the determination of the pressure difference Δp, the clogging of the filters is considered to be twice the pressure drop value compared to the value with clean filters.
