Description
The BTT25-M circular fire dampers serve as a shut-off device for air ducts in case of fire. When the damper is closed, the spread of fire and the spread of smoke through the pipe from one fire section to another is prevented. Activation of the damper in case of fire is ensured by a 72 °C thermal fuse as standard. Closure of the damper after activation of the thermal fuse of the thermoelectric actuator is ensured by the closing spring of the actuator. The damper casing, which has a series of perforations to prevent heat transfer, is made of galvanised steel sheet. The damper is fitted with a single-row lip seal. The damper sheet is made of calcium silicate plates. The blade rotates on steel pins mounted in bronze bushings. The actuator is fitted with two limit switches. The flapper is designed to minimize pressure loss.
Features
CE marking according to EN 15650 certification, classification according to EN 13 501-3 is EI 90/120 S. Tested according to EN 1366-2 at 500 Pa.
Use
The flaps are suitable for installation in all common building structures such as rigid wall structures, lightweight partitions or rigid ceiling structures. The flap can be installed in fire separating construction with the axis of the sheet vertically or horizontally. Fire dampers can only be used for air free of mechanical and chemical impurities. Maximum flow velocity 10 m/s.
Mounting
The fire dampers are designed for circular air ducts from DN100 to DN315. The axis of the damper must be inside the fire compartmentation structure.
Caution
Fire dampers are dedicated fire safety devices (see the Ministry of Interior decree on fire prevention), therefore it is necessary to comply with the prescribed rules (training of installers, regular operational checks, etc.). Ask for information!
