Cabinet
is made of galvanized steel sheet. The cabinet is internally coated with a 25 mm thick layer of soundproofing material. The enclosure has circular spigots with single-edge seals for connecting flexible hoses or circular pipes.
Running wheel
is radial with forward curved blades, single-sided suction. The impeller is directly pressed onto the outer rotor of the asynchronous motor.
Motor
is a three-turn asynchronous motor with a resistance armature and an outer rotor, mounted in an air stream. The motor insulation is class B, IP44. The motor has lifetime grease-filled ball bearings and a built-in thermal overheat protector. The operating temperature range is from -20 to 40 °C.
Screwdriver
is plastic, bolted to the fan housing, a tool must be used to open it. IP55 protection.
Speed control
is carried out by electronic or transformer regulators.
Noise
emitted by the fan is indicated in the tables and on the performance characteristics of the ducted fan.
Mounting
The fan can be installed in any position of the motor axis. Due to the design of the fan, it is important to remember to allow sufficient space for the removal of the inspection cover when mounting the fan. The housing must not transmit mechanical stresses from the pipework. A flexible connection to the pipework must be used.
Instructions
The fans are suitable for air handling applications where the low noise level of the fan is advantageous. The very low building height of the fan casing is an advantage.
