Cabinet
is made of high quality EPP, which ensures low heat loss of the unit. The front panel is made of high quality plastic. The throats (Ø 125 mm) are located on the top of the cabinet. A fully automatic by-pass is included as standard. The unit is equipped with a control system that indicates filter contamination, controls the by-pass and allows the BOOST function to be activated.
Fans
For exhaust air intake and fresh air intake, the ventilation unit is equipped with radial fans with backward curved blades and EC electric motors.
Motors
Single phase EC motors 230 V/50 Hz.
Recuperation
The counterflow plate heat exchanger is plastic, efficiency up to 92%. The heat exchanger is accessible by removing the front wall of the unit. For summer operation, the unit is equipped with an exchanger bypass.
Filter
The exhaust air intake has a G4 (ISO coarse 65%) filter and the fresh air intake has an M5 (ISO ePM10 50%) filter, optionally an F7 (ISO ePM1 65%) filter. Access is by removing the filter service cover on the front of the unit. No tools are required for removal.

Regulation
In the performance characteristics, the characteristics for each speed are indicated. The remote control has four potentiometers for setting the flow rate to standard, boosted or cooling mode in summer. The last potentiometer is used to set the ventilation mode balance. It is possible to set equal pressure, positive pressure or negative pressure mode. The unit has a 0-10 V analogue input for connecting external CO2, RH or temperature sensors.
Temperature control
In summer, the air in the unit can be bypassed outside the heat exchanger, allowing partial cooling of the building at night.
Electrical connection
A six-core 1.2 m long cable is routed from the unit for direct connection to the controller and power supply.
Mounting
standard vertical position, for wall mounting a minimum height of 300 mm above the floor must be maintained. Sufficient clearance must be maintained in front of the unit to allow the filters to be removed or the lid to be opened to clean the heat exchanger. A steel posterior frame for wall mounting is included. Connection of the condensate drain is made via a siphon odour trap to the waste line or rainwater outlet.
Noise
Low noise due to special design and use of flat fans with EC motors.

Instructions
In areas where temperatures are often below -5 °C, it is recommended to install an air preheater of adequate capacity (e.g. MBE-AFP 125/0.4) for fresh air intake. After basic setup by the installer, the unit requires no further adjustment. Demands on the user are minimal. Filter replacement is recommended at least once a year. It is also possible to install an air/liquid ground register ED Geoflex/ED KZ-R. The design of DOMEO heat recovery units and their use in buildings with gas appliances of category B (gas boilers and open chamber water heaters) or with open hearth appliances using solid or liquid fuels with flue gas extraction to the chimney is governed by the applicable regulations. Ventilation must comply with the normative regulations on fire safety in buildings and must not contravene fire regulations.
