Cabinet
It is made as a self-supporting structure composed of two parts: an inner part made of galvanized steel with internal M1 thermal acoustic insulation made of 10 mm thick melamine foam with a density of 9.5 kg/m3 and an outer aluminium shell painted white. Access to the filters and fans is via a hinged door on the underside of the unit. The cabinet includes 4 brackets for ceiling mounting.
Fans
On both the inlet and outlet sides of the unit is a fan with backward curved blades. The impeller is made of composite material and is statically and dynamically
balanced.
Heaters
The unit can be equipped with electric preheating and electric or water preheating.
Motor
The EC motor is directly mounted on the fan impeller, including integrated electronic protection.
Recuperation
Desktop aluminium counter-current heat exchanger with high efficiency up to 92%. The integrated bypass heat exchanger is located on the supply side and is activated automatically or manually if required. The bypass is used for free cooling when the indoor temperature is higher than the outdoor temperature.
Filters
ISO coarse 60% and ISO ePM1 50% (G4+F7 filters) on the supply air side. ISO ePM10 50% filter (M5) on the exhaust air side.
Electrical connection
The unit is connected to a single-phase voltage of 230 V / 50 Hz.
Regulation
The unit is equipped with an integrated ADVANCED controller with ETD touch controller. The controller must be ordered separately, it is not included in the unit delivery. The controller allows manual and automatic air flow adjustment, automatic bypass control for free cooling and to provide exchanger frost protection, preheat and reheat power control, alarm indication and Modbus communication. One ETD controller can control up to 5 units (controller not included).
Mounting
in horizontal position under the ceiling. The unit can be installed to the perimeter wall separately or in the ceiling. Handling space must be provided for the unit for regular inspection and filter changes. If the unit is installed in the ceiling, access to the front panel for cleaning the recuperator must be provided. The condensate drainage is provided by an integrated pump without the need to install a siphon. The HVAC supply and extract air piping through the building envelope is connected to the prepared circular outlets. The installation into the ceiling is carried out via 4 ceiling hangers, which we recommend to be fitted with the KIT AM HRU accessories (anti-vibration kit).
We recommend the installation of the PURECLASS 800 unit with the MPM 315 accessories in combination with the EDF-VUZS facade grilles on the ODA and EDF-VUZV EHA side. If longer pipework is used on the ODA and EHA side, we recommend a maximum pressure drop of up to 50 Pa for the individual pipework on the EHA or ODA side, including inlet and outlet facade grilles. When using piping on the ODA/EHA side with a higher pressure drop than 50 Pa, the sound power (or pressure) level of the PURECLASS unit must be increased by 3 to 5 dB(A) compared to the values given in the tables below, depending on the pressure drop of the ODA/EHA piping.
Use
The units are designed for ventilation of schools, commercial premises, offices, hotels and public buildings. The unique "ductless" concept simplifies unit installation, making it the ideal solution for improving indoor air quality in buildings that do not have an installed ventilation system.
