is made of durable hardened plastic. The unit allows installation in a wall with a thickness of 250 to 500 mm. The interior of the unit is fitted with a design front cover, the front cover has indicators to confirm receipt of commands and to alert when filters need to be changed. The unit includes a relative humidity sensor and a light intensity sensor.
Fans
The unit is equipped with a reversible axial fan with DC motor and is designed for continuous operation.
Motor
IPX4 motor protection, lifetime ball bearings. Operating temperature -30 to +50°C.
Recuperation
Regenerative ceramic material heat exchanger with a maximum thermal efficiency of 93%. For easy maintenance and servicing, the heat exchanger is accessible by removing the inner part of the unit and the fan section.
Filters
A G3 class filter (ISO coarse 45%) is located on both sides of the heat exchanger.
Regulation
In automatic operating mode, the unit switches between exhaust and supply air from/to the room every 70 seconds. The unit is supplied with a remote control. One remote control can control up to 16 RESPIRO 150 PRO units. The following operating modes can be set with the remote control:
- Automatic mode - fan speed is set automatically by humidity and light intensity sensors (reduced operation during night hours), ensuring optimal room air quality
- Manual mode - manual adjustment of the intensity of operation - 3 speeds, sensors disabled
- Standby mode - unit only switches on if the humidity level exceeds the set level
The controller also allows short-term operation at maximum speed for rapid room ventilation (BOOST function) and a special quiet mode for night-time operation.
Mounting
The unit can only be installed in the horizontal axis of the heat exchanger body with a 1-2% inclination to the outside of the wall. The long connection extension (500 mm), which contains the ceramic heat exchanger, fan and filters, can be adapted to the wall thickness. The unique design of the unit ensures easy maintenance and cleaning. The RESPIRO 150 PRO unit can be used when replacing an existing fan without the need for extensive installation preparations.
Information
The unit is suitable for new builds or renovations as a replacement for existing negative pressure ventilation fans. Due to the alternating operation and the accumulation of waste air energy in the ceramic heat exchanger body, there is no excessive heat loss caused by the supply of fresh cool air.
Note
The RESPIRO 150 PRO ventilation unit is the ideal solution for replacing non-functioning, previously installed 160 mm diameter fans in existing installations (without the need for complicated structural modifications, wiring and condensate drainage).
